INVITATION TO APPLY FOR ELIGIBILITY AND TO BID


The Municipality of San Remigio, Cebu thru its BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (BAC), invites all interested suppliers and dealers to apply for eligibility & to submit BIDS for the supply/delivery of limestone and heavy equipment rentals including labor for the Road Rehabilitation of Brgy. Anapog in ths municipality.

All interested parties are invited to send their eligibility requirements/documents and procure the bidding documents from MS. ROSEMARIE PESTAÑO, Bids & Awards Committee (BAC), Office of the Mayor during office hrs. upon payment of Six Hundred Pesos Only (Php 600.00).

Listed hereunder are the requirements/documents (whichever are applicable to be submitted in a certified true copy by the issuing agency.

  1. CLASS "A" DOCUMENTS
    1. Income tax return for the preceding calendar year.
    2. Statement of prospective bidder that is not blacklisted/barred from bidding by the government./any of its agencies, offices, corp./local government units.
    3. Authority of company?s representative.

  2. CLASS B DOCUMENTS ? TECHNICAL
  3. Statement of the prospective bidder of all its ongoing and completed awarded but not yet started. Statement should include:
    1. Name & location of the contractor/s
    2. Date of Contracts
    3. Kinds of goods sold
    4. Date of delivery
    5. Specification whether the prospective bidder is a manufacturer, supplier/distributor and or licensed contractor.

  4. FINANCIAL DOCUMENTS
    1. The prospective bidders latest financial statements, stamped ?received? by the BIR or its duly accredited and authorized institutions, for the immediately preceding calendar year, showing, among others, the prospective bidder?s total and current assets and liabilities;
    2. The prospective bidder?s computation for its financial contracting capacity (NFCC) which shall be in accordance with sec. 23.11 of the IRRA or a commitment from a licensed banking institution to extend to it a credit line if awarded the contract to be bid, or a cash deposit certificate , in an amount not lower than that set by the procuring entity in the bidding documents, which shall be at least equal to ten percent (10%) of the approved budget for the contract to be bid.

BAC shall use a pass/fail criteria to determine the eligibility of prospective bidders.

1. Posting at G-EPS February 15, 2010
2. Issuance of Bid & Eligibility Doc. February 15 to February 20, 2010
3. Deadline of submission of eligibility February 20, 2010 (11 a.m.)
4. Pre-bid conference February 20, 2010 (3 p.m. - optional)
5. Opening of Bid March 4, 2010 (9 a.m.) , Conference Room/Office of the Mayor

The Municipality of San Remigio, Cebu reserves the right to reject any all bids, to waive any defect or informality & assumes no obligation whatsoever to compensate, indemnify to the bidders for any expenses that they may incur in the preparation of bids & to accept the offer most advantageous to the government .
